Deadlines

Please review your degree plan and work with your GPC to ensure you've completed all necessary steps and forms. Be sure to submit the graduation application before the university deadline, pay the $15 graduation fee, and submit the graduation check request.

The date by which a student needs to defend in order for that semester’s registration to be applicable (e.g., if a student misses this deadline, they may be required to take credits the following semester and will not be considered graduated).

The date by which all degree requirements must be met to qualify for that semester’s graduation and receive a diploma (e.g., thesis/dissertations have cleared the Library and been signed by the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies, internships or externships have been finished, required testing [i.e., PRAXIS] has been completed, etc.).

The date by which all degrees will be awarded from the previous semester.

In order to meet the following deadlines, please submit your documents no later than 4 weeks before the dates listed below.

Individual programs may have earlier deadlines for its students in order to meet the official grad school deadlines. Please check with your Graduate Program Coordinator to see if your program has additional deadlines.
